Who we are
EMMPA ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Individual Entrepreneur Ihor Poltavtsev, registered in Ukraine — 54038, Mykolaiv, Krylova Street 50. We run emmpa.pro and provide retention-marketing services for Shopify brands.

What we collect
We collect only what we need to do our job and respond to you:
- Contact details you give us — name, email address, phone, company name, and anything else you type into a form or send by email.
- Service data you share during an engagement — access to your Klaviyo and Shopify accounts, analytics exports, customer segments, and any reference material you attach. This data is used only to deliver the work we've been contracted for.
- Website usage — anonymized page views, referrers, approximate location (country/region), device type. We use this to understand how the site is used and to improve it.
We do not collect financial information directly on this site. Payments go through Stripe, Wise, or Upwork — each handles card data under their own policies.
How we use it
- Delivering the services you've hired us for.
- Replying to your inquiries and sending relevant updates about active engagements.
- Sending marketing emails you've explicitly subscribed to (for example, the Playbook PDF). You can unsubscribe from any email we send, instantly.
- Improving the site — understanding which pages are helpful, which aren't.
- Meeting legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Limited sharing happens only with the service providers we need to run the business:
- Klaviyo — our email marketing platform. If you subscribe to the Playbook or join a client list, your email is stored in Klaviyo.
- Google Workspace — we use Gmail and Google Drive for client communication and document storage.
- Notion — we use Notion for project management and scheduling (including the booking calendar).
- Stripe, Wise, Upwork — payments are processed by these providers. We never see your card details.
- Vercel — this website is hosted on Vercel. Server logs are retained per Vercel's defaults.
- Legal authorities — if compelled by law, we comply with valid requests.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses cookies and similar technologies to understand how it's used. We use privacy-respecting analytics that do not identify individual visitors. You can block cookies in your browser — the site will still work.
International transfers
Your data may be processed in Ukraine (where our team is based) or in the United States and EU (where our service providers operate). Every provider listed above is bound by industry-standard security and data-processing practices.
Your rights
You can ask us, at any time, to:
- Show you what personal information we have about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your information, subject to any legal or contractual retention we're required to observe.
- Export your information in a portable format.
- Unsubscribe from any of our mailing lists (every email has a one-click unsubscribe link).
Write to privacy@emmpa.pro and we'll respond within 14 calendar days.
Children
Our services are not directed at people under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has given us their data, let us know and we'll delete it.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary — for active engagements, for follow-up within a reasonable window after (usually up to 24 months), and for legal record-keeping where required. Mailing-list subscribers remain subscribed until they unsubscribe.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, email existing clients and subscribers.
